Overview
Negotiation is an interaction of influences where two or more parties, with common and conflicting goals, willingly discuss proposals in order to reach agreement. It’s a strategy used to meet our needs, both known and underlying, when someone else controls what we want. Discover a variety of tactics depending on the situation. You will be able to identify questions needing answers before negotiating. You will understand the importance of what you need for a high-quality negotiation and spot any pitfalls of bargaining. This course will focus negotiation and strategy, planning effective negotiations, opening win-win discussions, exploring win-win alternatives, and reaching agreement and tactics.
An application activity form is also included to assist you with the implementation of the techniques in the course.
