Skills Development - Responsible Initiative (Interactive)
In Skills Development - Responsible Initiative, you'll learn ...
- Strategies to find opportunities to lead
- How to implement stages of personal leadership
- Methods to overcome external workplace obstacles
Overview
Finding opportunities to lead doesn’t mean just taking on any project. See how your work relates to the big picture first so that what you initiate is in alignment with other operations. Initiative takes courageous muscle. Everyone has it, but since it takes extra effort, too few are willing to exercise it on a regular basis. Like any muscle though, you use it or lose it. The more initiative you take, the easier it is to make. But exactly what is it? We will help you to discover opportunities for initiative and how to take responsible initiative. In this course, we will focus on personal leadership, initiative for responsible results, achieving results with others, personal accountability, and overcoming obstacles.
An application activity form is also included to assist you with the implementation of the techniques in the course.
