Overview
Ethics is a vast, complex study of moral codes of conduct governing what’s right and wrong. It attempts to answer the question, “how should we live our lives?” both at the individual and group level. The benefits of ethical conduct are numerous. Employees want to be treated fairly. Managers are liable for subordinate criminal activity. Ethical lapses also shatter consumer confidence, can cost huge fines, increase the need for government regulation, and can cost you your job. We will show you how to be responsible and the steps required to make ethical decisions and sole problems. In this course, we will provide an introduction to ethics and cover employee ethical responsibilities, ethical dilemma decision-making, ethical problem-solving, leading ethical conduct.
An application activity form is also included to assist you with the implementation of the techniques in the course.
Specific Knowledge or Skill Obtained
This course teaches the following specific knowledge and skills:
- Define ethical values, conduct, and dilemmas, recognize your employee ethical responsibilities
- Explain four common ethical business problems
- Implement the Three Rs for leading ethically
Certificate of Completion
You will be able to immediately print a certificate of completion after passing a multiple-choice quiz consisting of 10 questions. PDH credits are not awarded until the course is completed and quiz is passed.
