Overview
This 4-hour course covers the application of capacitors on electric power systems. The course explains how capacitors are constructed and how they may be used to improve power factors and improve voltage profiles in electric distribution systems.

- How capacitors are constructed
- What is meant by "leading" and "lagging" power factors
- How to properly size a capacitor bank
