Content was good but I like when I can listen to the course.
Neil Wilson |
Another excellent example.
Joseph Schmitt |
provided very useful information.
Derek Stefureac |
It was interesting and informative.
Randy Harris |
Very informative presentation of how engineers need to go above and beyond to ensure that their design and calculations are thorough and that a proper QC has been conducted for every aspect of the design process.
Brian Hart |
Very interesting, however there is a lot of repeated information. More photos of the bridge instead of generic clipart would be nice.
Charles Bunyaviroch |
Very good and interesting subject.
Kenneth Stenroos |
Very detailed description of the bridge collapse and the many missed opportunties to prevent it.
Frank Kaul |
Tables or charts showing liability, responsibilities would have been nice.
Gregory Emanuel |
Interesting course but it should have concluded with some facts on how practices have changed as a result of the disaster and subsequent investigation.
Thomas Kicklighter |
This was very informational on all aspects
Mark Peery |
Emphasized appropriately to never assume.
Nathan Moriarty |
The material presented was very informative. It may have been better to have the information presented with sound.
Michael Pegnam |
Interesting subject and a lot of detail is included.

This was an excellent ethic course for those who practice structural engineering on a state or federal level and for those who do not design and build bridges. I came across this course to meet my PE license requirements for NJ and NY, for example, at a time where this infamous event took place merely 10 years ago. There is a strong reinforcement of the rule from ASCE Canon 1 which obligates all PE's to preserve life and property throughout all design, construction, and inspection actions.
