the documentation refers to NFF, national flood frequency
this method has been superseded by NSS, national streamstats
the nff website will direct you to the new nss site
please update the course material
WEBMASTER NOTE: Thanks for your comments. We have referred this to the course author who responds, "You can still download the NFF program and the database for the program. There is a new NSS program and data base for the program.. It appears to have more recent data but performs about the same. I made reference to both programs in the course and made a few more changes. The course is not about how to run either the NFF or NSS program. It just used the program to show similar results."

Well laid out, easily understood.

Course was Nice refresher, I did find a couple of misprints in the material ( 1.The equation for the velocity over a PAVED surface was mislabeled as Vunpaved, page 11 in material, 2. In example 3.1.3 the given is the wetted perimeter of 25 ft and is mislabeled as the hydraulic radius, 3. Quiz Question 18 does not give you the storm type, leaving you to assume it is Type 2 because that is most of the US)...Other then these misprints, the material is very easy to follow and I will be using this site for additional PDHs. WEBMASTER NOTE: We referred this comment to the author and his response follows: "You can still download the NFF program and the database for the program. Good course that covers relevant information on drainage.

Excellent course. Would recommend to other engineers as a good refresher course.

The information presented was very thorough, yet concise. It was easy to read and digest.

I found the course to be fair and informative. The test required going back to
the course material, but that was not difficult since the questions follow the course material well.

There appeared to be a couple typo errors in the package. One regarding Hydraulic Radius in the example, it should have said wetted perimeter. Another error was just a typo in the rational method example, in the equation it said 0.03 instead of 0.30. Other than those minor issues it was a great refresher. WEBMASTER COMMENT: Thanks for taking the time to review this course. The author has made changes to correct this issues you have pointed out. Thanks for providing your comments.
