a little hard to understand (language)..........but good course material helped
Kurt Cook |
I found it hard to understand this presenter. The speed was fine, but enunciation could use some improvement.

Overall the program was good and covered a lot of the basic material. I would have liked to see a little less on tension members and more coverage on some of the other topics covered briefly.
Michael Markham |
Way too much time was spent on discussion about LRFD v. ASD, recent AISC changes, and Analysis of Tension Members. About 1/3 of the material in the slides was never discussed. It seems there was much more to cover than the time allotted. I wish had had as much time to cover the compression and columns as we did for the tension members.
Kirk Radtke |
Content was good, presenter was knowledgeable and cover a lot of material.
Louis Cila |
There was a lot of material in this presentation and the pace was too quick to follow closely.
Jeffrey Anschlowar |
Very good, the presenter was very knowledgeable.
Mark Voss |
Was a good update on code changes and steel design methods
Jeff Liedel |
ineffective timing of webinar left some concepts barely touched. WEBMASTER NOTE: Thank you for the review. We are working with the instructor to structure the webinar in a more efficient way.
Terry Perdue |
The instructor often referenced a book; however, I did not have reference material to follow along. The slides did not include the referenced charts. Either inclusion of the referenced material in the slide presentation or distribution of reference materials prior to the webinar would enhance the lesson.

It is definitely tough to cram steel design into 8 hours, but the instructor did an excellent job and was well-versed in every aspect of the webinar.
Michael Hobbs |
The course was very in-depth. I few more illustrations of the beam joints that were being calculated would help in visualization.
Robert Wolf III |
i would prefer a separate 4 hour ASD and 4 hour LRFD.
Tom Baric |
Examples could have been laid out more clearly. Though I did get the content. A half dozen calculation concepts were covered with so many slides. possibly consider making examples clearer and cut to the basic methods with simple a,b,c, instructions.
Rohit Khera |
Very knowledgeable instructor. covered a lot of ground.
Francis Huguet |
instructor was knowledgable.
more slides with labels to build up and to refer back to would avoid on screen drawing and also reinforce material for some people. having more drawing/illustrations may also allow more material to be covered by quickly ramping each topic from intro through examples.
As it got deeper into day, the lack of pictures was more evident.
the subject is not my main line of work, but the course and presenter have provided me with some insights for crossfunctional discussions. thanks.
