The article was very interesting and informative, but appeared to have some geographic errors. It states that Fairbanks is 170 miles from Valdez, and while the internet focuses on road and flight distances, road distance is listed as 362 miles and flight distance is listed as 365. There has to be some lateral movement in this listed distance, but 170 miles seems suspect. Also, the article lists Yukon Territory as being between Fairbanks and Valdez. However, there is no region called Yukon Territory in Alaska, as it is a Canadian Territory that reaches from the Arctic Ocean to South of mainland of Alaska, to the east of the Alaska pipeline. Maybe another region was meant, and the wrong name got inputted into the article. WEBMASTER COMMENT: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have discussed your comments with the author, the appropriate corrections will be made to the material.

Very interesting course, covered a lot of different aspects of engineering. Such as material concerns, safety issues, redesign when require, all parts that should be considered regardless of the project.
