Course was interesting. Would seem very applicable for project managers. I would have liked a little more information on the specifics of the design elements, how they determined the pipe sizes or even pump sizing.

This was extremely interesting and really highlighted the challenges associated with project management, engineering, construction, and the politics required to complete a project this large and complex.
Rob Wesch |
A very long course. It was interesting to learn about the various difficulties in designing and constructing a project of this magnitude in a very remote area.

A very thorough and interesting review of the challenges faced and conquered by engineers, environmentalists, politicians, construction workers, Alaska natives, and others in planning, designing, and constructing the Alaska Pipeline.
Carolyn Smith |
I enjoyed learning about the hurdles overcome during the construction of the Alaskan Pipe line.

Historical and fascinating course

Good overview of a very ambitious project. Would have been good to have some maps or diagrams to illustrate the efforts needed to accomplish this feat.
James Hagberg |
An interesting & informative course on a mega-project.

I enjoyed your historical summary. I was fortunate enough to have been involved in a part of the project related to engineering evaluaton and factory testing of the natural gas compression rotating equipment that was used to reinject the natural gas back into the oil field to keep the field pressurized. Great project.
