This course was great - Last year, I was exposed to extremely unethical actions from a MD professional engineer who lied during a meeting about his capabilities. We withdrew from the project after the client reached out to us and asked that we reconsider working with the unethical engineer. This course has reinforced our commitment to serving the better good of the public by providing the best schedule, cost/budget, and deliverables to our clients while keeping the Engineer's creed in focus.

Fairly drab read, but the point is certainly hammered home. My shoulders certainly feel heavier now!

Surprisingly short and not very nuanced. Have taken better courses in the past.
Rea Huston |
Good basic ethics review.
Scott Molde |
Good short read that reinforces the trade offs

Direct summary of basic project management triangle and its link to ethical decision making as the primary objective (i.e., the circle that includes cost, scope, and schedule).

I was hoping for a little more than a 10 page handout, but overall the information was good and helpful.
WEBMASTER NOTE: Although some engineers read faster than others, our review team has determined that the material in this course warrants one hour of credit

Very basic course but a great reminder as a project manager to consider ethics first. Cost, schedule and scope is considered on all projects but ethics is a common oversight in the discussion.
