Good, Simple and basic ethics class
Jennifer Bowyer |
A simple reminder of how ethics should be a consideration when managing projects as a PE. The scenarios presented illustrate how ethics can be hidden inside a what seems to be a good solution otherwise.
Gnanadesikan Ramanujam |
A broad outline of ethics. I would have liked to see more on ethical personal interactions with other stakeholders (State of Ohio ethics courses were pretty good).
Jesse Schneider |
This was a good course that addresses some real issues that a lot of engineers face.
Robert Morikawa |
Could use some graphics to emphasize or support points instead of just words to read.
Omid Mohseni |
It was well-designed and well-written.
Angus Newman |
Straightforward review of engineering ethics in the context of project management
Tom Tucker |
I felt the examples were good, but at least in the first case failed to address whether Walter actually knew the reason for the lower cost but longer delivery time. It also failed to address how one would go about identifying such information since it will certainly not come from the supplier. If effort in good faith is made to seek out such information to no avail, then what? This seems a relevant topic to add.
Gabriel-Dumitru Colef |
Great description of ethics and very interesting case studies.
Daniel Wilde |
Overall the discussion provided a helpful perspective. I would say that both of the examples were pretty similar to each other and something more unique might add to the learning.
Bradford Carpenter |
Reasonably straightforward course with practical examples. Consider expanding examples to include multiple considerations during the case study background/introduction as opposed to only including at the conclusion of the case study to illustrate the many tensions/challenges that a Professional Engineer must evaluate throughout their daily work.
Michael Jeanes |
Course was informative and met the expectations.
Robert Bishop |
Case studies were very good outstanding
