Very comprehensive although the quiz questions were somewhat misleading

The content of the course was good. However, to only receive only 2 hours of contact time to read a 62 page document and complete an exam containing questions needing calculations is unacceptable!

Great topic, but several of the questions were misleading. Some of the answers may even be wrong.
For example, question #1 appears to have the wrong answer.
Also, questions 11-14 are unclear in the description (between members, framing, first and second floor, and lower and upper roofs). Some of the answers may be wrong or unclear as well.
I would appreciate a follow-up response with clarification to these questions and answers.

After going through this course. I am happy I am retiring. The codes are getting too “deep in the weeds” with cross
references back and forth, exceptions with foot notes, cumbersome equations, etc., etc. That drives me as an engineer
crazy. I have been practicing structural engineering for over 50 years. The present codes are not user friendly and rely
too much on software which can have mistakes. Is it really important that we calculate loads to two or three decimal
places by using laborious equations ?? Thanks- just venting.

I enjoyed the experience, and learned valuble info on how the snow load calculation has changed from previous codes.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to taking this course. I echo other reviews - questions were unclear at best.

Absolutely Lousy. Many Typos and grammar issues. How do you spend more pages explaining a chapter of ASCE that is shorter than the explanation. Next time just copyand paste the chapter. ASCE 7 is written much better.

Course was interesting but wording very confusing particular with equipment platforms. I was never sure what level taking quiz was the one I was supposed to be analyzing. Having a rudimentary schematic would made it much clearer.
