I wish the slides given ahead of time matched the slides presented. We were given about 65 slides ahead of time and there were about 127 slides in the presentation. Something is wrong. I also could not un-mute my microphone. I gave my name and muted it so there would be no background information. Then I could not unmute it. The instructor did a good job. WEBMASTER NOTE: The presentation is correct, there are two slides per page for a total of 129 slides. Due to changes with the hosting platform attendees now have a request to unmute button that can be pressed.

The instructor delivered a well organized course on topics related to water pollution and its ability to have an impact on surface waters, moving water (rivers), groundwater and ultimately the oceans of the world. I enjoyed the review of materials I learned in a college setting years ago, especially the mechanics of many equations associated with our understanding of a range of parameters and characteristics that we as engineers need to understand, be able to explain and make every effort to manage for stakeholders including but not limited to consumers, owners and operators of point and non-point pollutant sources, swimmer/surfers and seafood consumers from near and far. I also appreciated the brief timeline of related regulations from a global perspective. The instructor made an effort to keep the students engaged and routinely stopped to check for questions before moving between topics.
