James Vogel, P.E.

James Vogel, P.E., is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois and has an MS EE He is also an MC SE. Mr. Vogel has 18 years engineering experience in the Electronic and Aerospace industries and in the Department of Defense. Mr. Vogel also has 14 years experience in postsecondary education as a faculty member and adjunct instructor for several colleges: Southern Illinois University, Southwestern Illinois College and Sanford-Brown College.

He has taught courses in engineering, computer science, and information technology. Mr. Vogel is currently a faculty member of a career college and teaches courses in Information Management and Mathematics. He also actively researches new courses and investigates new programs of instruction. Mr. Vogel has a BS degree in IE from Pennsylvania State University, a Masters Degree in IE from Texas A & M University, and MS degree in EE from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Alpha Pi Mu Honorary Engineering Societies and has been listed in the Who’s Who in Information Technology.
