Matthew B. Paddock, P.E., has over a decade of experience across the fields of agricultural, biological, and environmental engineering. He holds a BS and MS in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Global. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Maine and Texas and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) from INCOSE, and Certified Professional in Engineering Management (CPEM) from ASEM.
Matthew has worked in the intersection of engineering and biology; developing and scaling up systems to produce valuable bioproductss while treating and valorizing waste. This has encompassed bioprocessing systems, industrial biotechnology/microbiology, wastewater treatment systems, and life-support systems. Most recently, Matthew worked at NASA Ames Research Center on the BioNutrients spaceflight missions and CO2-Based Manufacturing system as part of the larger Synthetic Biology Project.
