Michael J. Rzeznik, P.E.
Michael J. Rzeznik, P.E., holds a master’s of science degree in fire protection engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and a bachelor’s of science degree in physics from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a licensed fire protection engineer in several states, and is also a certified fire and explosion investigator (CFEI) and instructor (CFII).
Mr. Rzeznik has over 27 years of experience in the area of fire protection engineering, building code and life safety, and has worked both as a fire protection and life safety consultant and as a corporate fire and life safety director. Mr. Rzeznik has also served as an adjunct professor in fire protection engineering at the University of New Haven.
His experience in fire protection engineering includes all facets of fire protection engineering system evaluation, investigation, design and analysis, and has provided him the opportunity to work on projects from large to small all over the world. In addition to his work experience, Mr. Rzeznik had authored numerous articles and participated in several print interviews regarding fire protection and life safety related issues.
