Charles A. Seifert, P.E.
Charles A. Seifert, P.E., is a senior mechanical design engineer with over 25 years of experience. He has spent over nine of those years in the RF field supporting design and production of engineered antenna products. During those years he has designed a variety of antenna products including those that have integrated dual frequency antennas into one common package. A strong proponent of “design for manufacturability,” his current position allows him to participate in the implementation of the manufacturing processes for both his designs and for products designed by others.
Injection molding, blow molding, compression molding, thermoforming, filament winding, metal stamping, CNC machining, brazing, ultrasonic welding, extruding, pultruding, and castings are among his areas of expertise. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of a variety of plastics, gasket type materials including EPDM and Neoprene, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass powder metals and fiberglass.
Mr. Seifert holds a BSME from the University of Akron and is a registered professional engineer in Ohio. He has been awarded four U.S. Patents for his work, including two in the RF Industry.
