Mr. Giles received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering magna cum laude from
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has 25 years of experience in the
petroleum refining, petrochemical, and natural gas processing industries.
From 1981 to 1991, Mr. Giles worked at the Exxon Baytown, Texas refinery,
completing assignments which included managing process and maintenance
operations and providing economics and technical support (including
facilities process design) to optimize profitability of refinery
operations.
From 1991 to present, Mr. Giles has provided consulting services to the
energy sector industries, completing assignments which included economic
evaluations and feasibility studies in the refining, petrochemical, and
natural gas processing industries; plant performance testing,
troubleshooting, and process optimization; process safety management;
litigation support and facilities process design. Mr. Giles has worked
for clients in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Giles is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
